Free Resources for Parents and Caregivers

To our friends at Cesar Chavez Elementary, KITS At Home and Parenting Healthy Preteens experienced another successful year thanks to your help spreading the word!
 
The KITS Family of Programs is reaching out to let parents know about two wonderful free online parent group programs enrolling now for fall. Both offer opportunities to get together with other parents and earn gift cards for their participation. I am including a short description below and an image that can be sent out in emails, newsletters, on social media, etc. And if you’d like other types of materials, please let me know! We’d be happy to get some flyers to your office.

KITS at Home
KITS AT Home is a school readiness program for parents of Pre K-1st graders (4-6-year-olds). Parents gather to talk about ways to support learning at home, help children follow directions and cooperate, and develop the social-emotional skills they need to thrive in school.

Parenting Healthy Preteens
Parenting Healthy Preteens is a supportive new program for the Parents of Preteens (4th-6th graders). There are few resources out there for families of children this age and we are excited to offer the program again this summer. Weekly groups focus on supporting our preteens' self-esteem, mental health, and success at home and school, as well as ways to take care of ourselves as parents.
