Come to Chávez STEM Night!
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
We will have a gym FULL of exciting stations to explore, including:
liquid nitrogen and dry ice

rockets and paper airplanes
construction and engineering bridges and towers
electricity and static electricity
states of matter

dominoes
alien genetics

chemical reactions (mentos and diet coke)
FREE SCIENCE BOOKS

We have just started an attendance booster to get our attendance rate up here at Chávez.
We know how important regular attendance is..... kids who miss days or are regularly late miss connection, instruction and relationships.
Thanks for prioritizing your child's regular attendance at Chávez.
We will celebrate 90% and above attendance days by 'dancing out' at the end of the day, with music and movement to celebrate our Chávez community!
